How long till RS3 game dies.

I would actually agree with this. I would probably strongly consider playing RS3 as opposed to OSRS (I don't really play either, currently) if it didn't have that Evolution of Combat crap.

 

Microtransactions, endless pointless cosmetics?

 

I still play ir the fan base is still quite impressive

 

Legitimately laughing at the micro comments but in all seriousness if they were to remove Evolution of Combat I strongly would consider actively playing again. Random events were essentially replaced by microtransactions too now it seems like. My bottom line is that if RS3 were to remove EOC, I would gladly play regularly again.

 

Yeah for sure. I actually played the other day on legacy and it looks great.

 

Agreed, it’s honestly improving tremendously graphically speaking. They’ll continue to thrive, though if Gower were the predominant shareholder I certainly wouldn’t have left. He always gave a quaint niche to the game we know and love, and that’s why people play Old School too in my opinion. That “feel” is irreplaceable. They were too drastic with the graphic overhauls on the pre-existing armor in my opinion though. I adored the classic armor sets simplicity!
