Allergic to shampoo, what to do?

I'm allergic to shampoo, does anyone know anything to wash my hair with, I've used bar soap but it smells like crap

Go to doctors? Its only a certain chemical in the certain brand you use. Find the Chemical in the Shampoo that makes you have a allergic reaction.

 

Guys this isn't spam I'm allergic to shampoo, It gives me big red bumps on my head whenever I use it

 

Try using baby shampoo. Its not so heavy on the chemicals and see what happens. How long of hair do you have? Does conditioner break you out?

 

I've tried baby shampoo but it's too watery and doesn't wash my hair(and smells strongly of baby), My hair is a little shorter than shoulder length, and yeah I can't use conditioner

 

Then you should probably cut it all off or ask a doctor who knows what he/she is talking about rather then asking a forum

I advise putting tonnes of conditioner on it, I love conditioner, smells awesome.
Also Lynx Showgel works a treat..

I doubt your allergic to "shampoo" in general, probably a certain chemical or ingredient, I adivse mainly ringing your local doctors and booking an appointment, medical questions are best answered on Yahoo, or ring your gp and ask them...

 

Ashes from a fire and water should work splendidly. I also saw on the Discovery Channel that some tribes in Africa and South America used urine from the community piss bucket to wash each others hair.

 

You aren't allergic to the shampoo but a chemical in the shampoo.

Go for the unscented stuff. SHOULD solve your problem. If not, call your doctor.

 

If you like I'll give you a name of a shampoo the doctor's prescribed to me when I had psoriasis, it doesn't smell too good, but if you put conditioner in afterwards, soft and frizzy hair , imo I like the smell, but others may not, I would check now but its 1am...

I am 99% sure you won't be allergic to this stuff.

 

They actually have soaps that you can use as shampoos that actually smell good. I'd also reccommend going to a doctor like many others have suggested.
