Well me and my dad (45) just bought two ascents onto k2. Anyone ever been in the Himalayan region ? We are going to be doing the climb next week. Lot of prerequisite had to be done before we could go. For anyone who doesn't know what k2 is its a mountain near Everest. Second highest in the world. Considered to be one of the danger est. Will be posting pics after trip is complete(hopefully) Any mountain climbers on Sythe ??

I haven't been Mountain climbing as such but I have done ALOT of hiking on smaller mountains etc for 5-7 days on a go. It's tough going... Good luck on your expedition
Yeah.......... Most mountains in the U.S are usually small. Some i climbed in the U.S are Pikes Peak, Denali, and Mount Raineer
Stop Associating Weed with this topic lol And btw i am carving my name in the post. I'm a bit worried because 1/4 of all people who try to summit pass away
You know how many years it took to arrange this and money. First you need a liaison officer and that doesn't come cheap. Plus some guides , cooks , etc. Luckily we only had to pay 12,500 plus tickets to India
That is what I thought as well. Awesome about the mountain climbing though that's way more interesting.
Well i hope i make it. I'm not taking any chances. Its not like other mountains. Its very steep like a pyramid. One false footing and your fucked
