How long do you think this would take?

I'll just start off with providing a picture for you guys



I would like to grow my hair this length, I was wondering how long it would take to grow? Here's a picture from yesterday (please excuse it; it was for an "expose your teeth" thread from another forum). It's buzzed #2 on the sides and back and maybe 1.5 inches on top.

Probably a year. Really depends on the person really, some people grow their hair really fast some don't.

At least 6 months.

It took me a good 4 months to get my hair like half as long as that. I loved it, but I went to France for the weekend and got annoyed with it (Hot weather + Long hair is never good) so I shaved it all off really short. I regret it so bad though, it's growing back really slow :/

 

This. Whereas my hair, i could do in around 5-6 month i think, my hair grows stupidly fast but i keep my head shaved (grade 1).

1½ year, I would say.

 

year and a half is like minimum. since i was little i've always cut my hair short and let it grow super long. I had hair a little longer than that when i got my last cut and it took me almost 2 years. I trimmed the split ends off and would even it out as i went a long, so this could have contributed to how long it took me. also, if your hair is uneven(shorter on one part than another), it will look weird when it first starts to come in.

 

Thats basically my hair and its taken me around 1.2 years to achieve it.

 

yeah, ive thought about the uneven part, i guess i'll get it trimmed on top or whatever when it gets longer, thanks man.

 

Your hair is really short dude, it WILL take a year or so.

 

If you've kept your hair the way you have it for most of your life, it'll be impossible to get your hair long like that.

 

I believe Zinc and B vitamins help hair growth. For me, it'd take about 5-6 months for something along those lines. I also keep my hair as pristine as possible. It's different for everybody so there's really only one way to find out, and that's to go for it.

 

Why is that so?
