counter rushing please read!

so i have recently made myself a handcannon pure, 75 cb 85 range 42 def void, and i was wondering if i should use a dbow or handcannon when im counter rushing people, in this type of scenario:

clawer attacks someone and i pj the clawer.

i was wondering which would work better, dbow or handcannon

 

Definitely handcannon, it's way more accurate. Consider 74 prayer for rigour (it helps quite a bit).

About 2 months ago I sold a kid a 99 range 74 pray rune pure and he constantly sends me screenies of his anti-rushs. Over 12 claw pks and a 3rd age mage/ags pk.

 

Handcannons are more accurate and stronger but much slower. D bows are a fast two hits and you can catch a rusher by surprise.

Also another suggestion that I thought of myself (but I'm sure other people have thought of). Get Eagle eye on your range tank and do Dungeoneering until you can get an Amulet of Zealots. The ammy gives an extra 5% in any prayer that gives a bonus to one stat. So Eagle eye would give you 20% range bonus without having to get 77 prayer for rigour.

 

Yeah, ammy of zealots is nice for pking. Not so much anti-rushing. The difference in combat lvls is only 2-3 levels. So really you'll be rushing the same people.

Ranging ammy has better bonuses for what he's trying to do.

Rigour is 74 prayer.
