EVERY time I buy headphones, the Right side of it breaks. I just recently purchased $150 headphones and the right one isn't working now. I then bought $30 ones, once again, the right one stops working.

    What is going on?

    1. I don't sleep with them on.
    2. I don't pull on them.

    Any ideas?

Your input plug on your ipod for your headphones (Or computer input) is possibly shorted, or the headphones could be shorted. This could be caused by a number of things. Such as wrapping the wire around the Ipod with it plugged in can give your wire a short and possibly the input on the Ipod. Pulling the Ipod cord out from the cord, not the little soft part above the metal part on the headphones can give them a short, once again also the Ipod input.

I hope this has helped you, and best of luck with your headphones buddy.

But it's probably your computer or ipod.

Blasting loud music through cheap headphones normally results in them blowing their speakers, as for the 150$ dollar set, im not sure what to say.

Try your headphones on another iPod or computer. If it's an iPod, it's most likely a broken jack.

Otherwise, be careful about how you place the headphones and just take care of them. They tend to break if the wire comes loose from wear and tear.

If its a Ipod Touch, Try doing a Hard reset on it By holding the home & power button at the same time until you see the silver apple, then let go if it says slide to power off ignore until you see that apple then let go

Like the other guys said, try using it on another device.
    Otherwise, you just got unlucky.

Things like this actually do happen, I remember having to replace my mp3 player 5 times in a single week because of some bs technical issues ..
