Is fishing a gold mine?

I see all these lvl 3 nerds with 99 fishing and its there only 99 and they got so much money it is crazy this one dude has 2 phats and 1 hmask i was like WTF so i was wondering is fishing a good skill to invest my time into for money?

 

.....you answerd your own question. you said they have 2 partyhats and masks and all they do is fish. so they must have fished for their money. if 2partyhats isnt worthwhile enough for you to put some time into fishing then i don't know what is.

Im 86 fishing its boring but good cash. you make atleast 50m from 1-99.

 

You don't always make 50mil+ it depends where and how you train it...
Also, fishing isn't that good. 99 hunter is much faster, and you average about 250k cash hour after 80.

Ps. Maybe they merched etc. to get their phats etc?

They most likely transferred the partyhats or had them before the update. Fishing can make you A LOT if you fish from 76-99 on shark.

 

Seeing how fishing is pure profit, Yes it is something to invest your time into.

 

yes fishing is a fair bit of money but not enough for a phat, but its worth investing time into.

 

It can make a lot of money with sharks but you have to be a member. Lobsters don't make so much money.

 

yeah but it averages at 100k/hr so unless you want to spend 2 years fishing for a phat, there are much faster ways

 

I'm at 94 Fishing right now, and it is basically 2m a day (lobsters) if that's all I do. The XP is pretty slow, but the money almost makes up for it.

 

Hunter is faster but requires more attention.
