I really want to fucking learn to do this.

Parkour is the getting from one point to another, as quick and efficient as possible.

Freerunning is the same as parkour, but involves tricks and added aesthetics, essentially to show off.

If you want to get into this your best bet is to join a tumbling class as you can pick up the gymnastics moves. I love parkour I just wish I could do it.

If you wanna actually learn parkour, there are plenty of proper classes you can attend.

^That's what the aussie's are doing and I'm sure you can find similar things in any country :)

Problem is is that I live in a rural area, not a "gymnastics" class for miles

Don't try to learn by yourself. Even if it means travelling miles, find somebody to teach you or somebody better than you to train with. Parkour can be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.
