    Sythe gold is essentially a currency that users can earn by doing specific activities on the site. @Obiwan2323 liked a great thread that you should definatley check out for further explaination. currently there are no uses for it although iirc Matthew (an admin) is working on implementing applications for it. Check out the news section every once in a while as there will probably be an announcement regarding it when it goes live.
    To donate check out the Sythe user center I will link below, which will show you who can accept donations and specific payment options that are available to you.

    Looks like people sell it for $1 per 100 gold, as of right now it has no formal use besides the ability to send it to other users.
