Need help from experienced hybrid pkers.

Hi, lately I bought the following account;
atk: 30/50
str: 30/70
def: 1
pray: 43
mage: 70
range: 1

After I get atk 50 str 70, I am planning to use sara strike + entangle against melee pkers and use maul as a K0. I need some advice on this;

1 Is this a good tactic or not?
2 What stuff should I wear and carry with me, like what kinda potions etc?

id wear the staff of course, probably since 1 defence some defence pots(super if u want!) and just zammy robes :/ im not sure wut defence lvl you need for enchanted so yeah. the tactic is border line for me, uve gotta think about teams, youd get p00ned if there was mutiples of them lol. anyways, the account soudns awsome!

 

if you get 79..you can either pot blitz..or just get 82 and do dt.


that=pwnage compared to sara strike.

 

Hmm yea or I just get 94 mage for Ice barrage..and 99 str+99 atk.. or 99 ranged.

now on topic, this WILL be the tactic I will use for a while, so what gear should I wear

 

I would say..

Maul (Of course)

Super ATT & Super STR (if not both, take STR)

DO NOT TAKE SUPER DEF. It only raises 15%, so if you're 1 def that's one level and a half. Stupid, and a waste of time.

Take enough runes for about 75-100 Sara Strikes, and about 25 Entangles/Snares.

If you want take an Anti-Poison, or Super Anti-Poison. Entirely up to you, if you want to sacrifice the extra slot that can be used for a teletab or sharks.

The rest sharks. Either take an extra shark or take a teletab. Whatever floats you're boat.

If you have prayer I suggest taking one prayer pot(4) and one super STR (2-3) instead of the super attack.

IF you're going to use ancients, don't pot blitz. Get the mage level, and don't waste inventory spot.

Any idea which armour,ammy,ring,whatever I should wear?

 

If you're one def:

Full Ghostly, or Zammy Top, Wizzy (Blue) Bottom, Gnome hat or wizzy hat.

Glory would be best, and if you don't want to use a glory bring a mage ammy.

I don't really see alot of magers use a recoil, since you can't get farcasted. But if you'd like to bring one, I'd say go for it.

But, if you're 20+ def:

Take full blue mystics. Easiliy bought from players/mage guild.

Also if you have 40+def, take splitbark top, boots and gloves. Give decent melee bonus and mage bonus.


ALSO NEVER FORGET YOUR GOD CAPE.

err...he asked..for EXPERIENCED hybrids.. g0d...it all matters upon how much money you have if your loaded like pam andersons tits...i suggest wearing a glory.. any zammy robes would do.. if your using a god spell i suggest zammy.. it hits the hardest.. and zammy book gives some pray bonus and strength..idk for a ring i suggest recoil... or life if your not good and die alot..if your ancenting with blitz.. or burst, just wear full ghostly..
i don't think the god strike maul combo would work too well..
just for the fact if there snared and you hit them..there going to eat..but a snare maul combo with great strength is usually good...and if they don't die from the maul just be cheap.. snare, run back... and just keep maging..which brings me to the next point..don't pk without at least.. 1 teamember(S)
but remember your fighting someone an don't have all that time to pull some ninja pimp slap combos...there gonna eat...and eating just gives them another chance to eat... so i wouldn't safe, but always keep prot. item on when you fight :S

Super str, pray, u gotta be fast to hybrid god spells + melee. So praxctice LOTS

ok with the stats of what u are saying a maul k0 wouldnt work well
the prayer just increases ur lvl and there are gonne be way too many ddsers out there now because they can have the same str as you but with 60 attack cuz of the pray
so if ur trying to pk with maul ur gonna get pwnt by dds
my suggestion would bedont get 50 attack and 70 str
get about 60 attack and 65 str and get d skimmy and dds because with sara strike its not gonna help that much especially because there are alot of hybrids with d hide on u aint hitting through d hide too good with mage and alot of people with ghostly on and robes so that makes it a little more hard also
so get to 60 attack and 65 str
do lost city and monkey madness and go pking with the following

dds, str ammy, climbing boots, mith gloves, sara cape, monk top and bottom, wiz hat,recoil ring, zammy book and bring in inventory the following

d skimmy
super attack
super str
and rest sharks
the mage is not gonna help very much unless u have ancients in members

d3ath is rite,sara strike and maul aint a good combo at all.I suggest dt but if u havnt done that stick wif entangle.Dont bother even using sara strike,if u entangle and sara strike them they tend 2 safe and eat.You will have no chance 2 get a KO and also dds pures own maulers.If ur gona go out there at least take a rune scimmy or something AND THAN MAUL SPEC=GG.(Mite think ur a noob wif a scimmy than shazam!!!Gmaul spec Ko)hehe..

 

Def pots don't help at 1 def..

 

Actually its a horrible idea.

Now...if you made it into a low lvl range/mage and got green killers to skull on u...that would work. Otherwise the sara strike/god spell thing takes up WAY too much food.

or you train 85 mage and tb. use charge then when using god spells. entangle. or you could get a frriend with blitz, barrage, burst , etc. dont forget ur god cape also. ranged would be better to keep hitting. its ur choice
