52 Prayer?

I was wondering if 52 prayer is worth it for pking.
Could it just be for higher level players?

 

Smite is now again useful for people with SS. It goes down really fast for them then. Well if you live long enough...

 

Depends on what kind of pking... and your combat level?

Well, atm I have 60 att 80 str 70 range and 70 magic. But, I am essentially going increase all those skills and now I think i am going to get 52 prayer as well.

 

Personally , I would get 52 prayer. Smite is wicked when fighting. Sometimes they forget to prayer pot and there prays like strength / Ranged etc arn't on an they hit lower - In end - Saving you food.

 

I don't like smite too much.

 

no point of smiting, get 95 and Turmoil you will own.

 

It's actually pretty useful, just most pures with it don't even use it and it just is a waste of combat lvls.

 

Smite is great on pures, incredibly useful.

I don't suggest you get it until your pure is around 70-75 combat. Smite at low levels (60 or so) is a complete waste because half the pures your level will have 1 prayer.

Definitely a worthwhile decision later on though.

 

16 prayer is actually the best choice for pures/zerkers that prefer to melee, if you can play without overheads, of course. Just imagine having a maxed 60 attack zerker with 16 pray, that would be 88-89 cb. [zerkers with turm at 88-89 cbs are like 83 strength]. Speaking of my experience, smite is useless. Most of pures just don't use it. Above all, as mentioned before, the main point of 16 prayer is to avoid fighting turmoilers.

 

whenever people turn smite on vs me, I tell them to take it off, and I run if they hit me 2-3 times without taking it off

it's not worth getting, because no one wants to fight vs smite

 

52 pray just isn't worth it anymore. Most people smited so they could smite a valuable weapon the other person had, now of the new drop system, who really gives a shit.

To the new pures, 43 is the way to go.

 

Tbh, I think I am going to get all the ideal stats, try it out for a bit, then most likely sell it. lol.

 

Id stay as low as you can until you honestly need it and are tired of training your account.

 

If your 1 defense pure, keep it at 1 or 31. If you have defense, get it 43 or 52.

 

I have a heap of pures and I can tell you right now smite is pointless these days. It's just a waste of prayer potions with new wildy, you never get anything good and when you do it's random. Don't do it.

 

Everyone posting on this thread is looking at smite in the wrong way.

You do not use it for the other person losing their item, it has nothing to do with the drop. You use it so they don't get the benefit of using the 15% buff prayers, you use it so they have to waste their time with extra prayer pots. It gives you the edge in a fight.

 

Not when the other persons 1 prayer and 20 strength levels higher. Then what?
