how do people get treated for adhd

i see people prescribed to adhd medicine and i wonder how does some person go through all that trouble to get a doctor to prescribe adhd medicine?

Do I need to see a psychologist?

 

there is a couple of tests that can show if your adhd or not. one is on a computer and is a simple click test. there is a box with a little box and you press a button every time the little box is out of the big one for like 45 mins. also they go off questions they ask you. I was given adderall till 9th grade. I always made good grades in school and got on the meds in 5th grade. It made me a zombie, so in 10th grade i said no. I almost flunked out of 10th grade because of all the fucks i didn't give. Then passed 11th and 12th and graduated in the top 10%. Went to the army where they gave me what i really needed ass kicking discipline. I was told if you are adhd you need meds for life. I haven't taken any since 9th grade. To me its bullshit for lazy parents that don't want to raise there kids.


edit::: if you want the meds to use to be able to make it through study benders or sell. Then go see a therapist and tell him you have a hard time concentrating and that you constently day dream, also shake your leg the whole time you sit in the room with him.


double edit::: if you want the pills its easy to get em just search the symtoms and mimic them lol

 

You'd be surprised at how many people actually have ADHD, it is just a question of how severe it is. Most cases are treated with medication like Ritilin or Adderall.
