How do mming work exactly?

I only posted this because I could not find a sticky or anything on how it works, If there is one, I apologize, please direct me to it.

A middleman basically makes sure both parties in the trade get the payment/items.

Example.

PLayer A is selling runescape gold, Player B is buying.

Player A gives the runescape gold to the middleman.
Middleman tells player B that he can now send the payment.
Player B sents and payment to Player A, Player A confirms this.
Middleman gives Player B his gold.

= Everyone happys =]

Have a look through some of the middlemanning threads and they state how they do some of the common trades.

 

Thanks, can you tell me what the difference is between OMM and MM? and what does that stand for? I'm sorry I'm new here :embar:

 

OMM = Staff vouched/verified
MM = Trusted (not necessarily)

 

MM = Middleman
OMM = Official Middleman

MM are not as trusted and as experiences as OMM so if it was a big trade use a OMM but if its like a small trade use a MM if you don't feel safe
