How do I stop this?

Basically Im happily browsing teh forums or playing rs and my pc starts glitching up, like everythink goes black and when you hover over something it reappears

also When I go to desktop You can still see the previous thing i was already on and the desktop folders.

and when playing Rs My internet connection appears up the top of the screen.

Right now my task bar is black and i can only see Rs and sythe /


HOW DO I STOP THIS. thanks

 

Does it stay like that when you restart?
The taskbar will go missing when explorer.exe messes up.. Usually restarting it through a task manager will fix it, or just restarting your computer all together.

 

It sounds to me that it doesn't have to do with explorer.exe but it seems like a driver issue. There is not really much you can do about it, but if I am right then I would assume your computer is old. I believe it is caused by a lot of graphics or memory usage, or just degenerative hardware failure. The best thing to do it run your computer in safe mode or get it brought to a computer store for a better evaluation. It may need to be replaced.
