    Bags under my eyes?

I don't know what the hell to do. For some reason I have pretty big bags under my eyes. It's not just me, I asked my girlfriend if it looked like I did, and she said "Yeah, looks like you haven't slept in forever".

Problem is, I have been sleeping. I've been getting 8-9 hours of sleep every night (I'm 21, so it's not like I'm a pre-teen that needs more sleep, I think?). I've been exercising 5-6 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. I've been eating healthy; haven't been overeating or starving myself, just right. I do have a little bit of stress, but who doesn't?

The ONLY thing I can think of is the fact that I've been spending way too much time on the computer lately. I'm sure that strains your eyes, but is that bad enough to give you bags under your eyes? I know it's bad for your eyesight, gives you a headache, and can lead to poor vision, but really.. bags under the eyes?

Any ideas on what's causing it, and how I can get rid of them? This is really annoying, thanks guys.

    Bags under my eyes?

You could have an allergy, It's about that time of the year so I would start there.
Spring and fall is the time known for "allergy flair-ups".
I would take some Benadryl and Zyrtec to prevent future allergic reactions.

If you smoke you also have a higher chance of getting dark bags under your eyes.

A few techniques I found while searching google,
Here are some quick fix tricks:
    1. Hold cold cucumber slices on your eyes for 15-20 minutes.
    2. Hold cold, used black teabags under your eyes. (Make your tea, remove the bag, and put the bag in the fridge for a while)
    3. Put spoons in the freezer and then hold them under your eyes for 10-15 minutes.
    4. Mix ground coffee with a few drops of water and then gently rub it under your eyes.

That's actually a possibility, to be honest. My dad had pretty strong allergies, and I think it runs in his family. However, I've never noticed any allergy symptoms. Do you think that's the case?

I don't smoke cigarettes, but I do smoke weed occasionally. I've been cutting back though, and am only smoking 1-2 times a week now. That couldn't be it, could it?

I will try those remedies you posted though, thank you :).

    Bags under my eyes?

Allergies don't always appear until you're an adult. My aunt was diagnosed with Severe Asthma when she was 24, she never had it before then. My dad has Asthma from when he was born until he was 17. I guess it can come and go, and/ or not appear for years.
I'd say it'd be safe to try the remedies and takes some Benadryl. I don't think that Smoking occasional bowl of weed would cause this. Unless there was something strange in the batch you might have now.

Ah, I never knew that, thanks. I always figured allergies/asthma/etc was something you'd pick up as a teen and it'd follow you around for the rest of your life. That makes sense though. I guess I'll try some Benadryl. I really hope I don't have allergies though, considering I live in Florida.. that's gonna be hell lol.

The weed is probably okay, I've been buying from the same guy for a while, and we usually smoke a blunt or two together whenever he gets some new shit in, so I think I can rule that out.

Do you think being on the computer a lot would cause this? I realized I've been spending WAY too much time on the computer lately, and I'm sure it's wrecking my eyes.. maybe that could be it?

    Bags under my eyes?

My Allergies usually get better when I go to Florida, I live in Indiana and travel to Florida at least 3 times a year.
Tons of older people prefer Florida as it is easier on Joints and Allergies.

At one point I was on the computer so much daily that I had to get reading glasses because of the strain it was putting on my eyes.
Being on the computer a lot would have more strain on your eyes as opposed to the area under your eyes. I wouldn't rule that out though.
I do think it's safe to role out the weed, as I doubt that is causing the bags.

A lot of it has to do with genetics. The skin under your eye is most likely thinner then most people have (this is what causes the racoon eyes.) Makeup is the only way to completely get rid of this problem and I have seen commercials for men products on this.

As for the "bags", try drinking a lot of water and less alcohol if you aren't already.

Try taking some allergy tablets and see if they go away (they won't straight away) take them for like 3 days or so. But if it doesn't work then obviously that's not the case.

You can also get too much sleep as well as not enough, but I doubt that is the case if your sleeping 8-9 hours.
