How Do I Remove Recovery Questions -Urgent-

Hey guys, recently decided to sell another one of my accounts, it had email registered and recovery questions, I've removed the email (after some difficulty) and I am trying to remove the recovery questions...2 questions have been raised both of which I need help with. How do I remove them? Someone please help me

1. I have removed the email yet look at this stupid green tick? Shouldn't it be a red cross instead?



2. Look what happens when I try and remove recovery questions...when I open the thing it says to look at the jag thing, which is also useless cause it's not enabled?! Driving me nuts.

 

It's really hard to remove them, I'm not even sure it's possible after the JAG update. The only thing you can do is sell it on and get them to activate JAG on their own PC.

 

Thanks for the fast reply mate, wow that's a load of bolloc*s. I just found the recovs I have set anyway, only one of the answers is private but idm giving that information to the buyer. Hopefully people are still interested lol.

 

Haven't played rs in over a year, but if I remember well, my recovery questions got removed after my account got unlocked. I forgot how i did it back then, it all happened because of some password problem that i caused myself xD.

So, get the account locked, then unlocked & they should be gone.

Remember, I haven't played rs for a year so with all the new security measures, this might not work anymore.

 

Get the account locked, What you do is do an password recovery once it's accepted and they give you the link to change your password, click on it. Then x out the page, your account should be locked then do an unlocked appeal. It should be removed. Hope this helps buddy, PM if you need more help.

 

I might or might not do this because I found the recov info so I could just give that with the account info when I sell it, but thanks man for the time/help!

LOL seems you were right, I'll pass I think and just sell it, cba navigating more of jagex's frustrating menus...

 

The whole lock and recover method doesn't work anymore. I honestly don't think there is a working method to remove recoveries since they introduced jag and anyone who says they can do it are probably full of crap.

 

How did you manage to remove the email

 

Some shit about how I requested a code for something (which didn't come first to my email), requested another, that came, I clicked link in the email as I didn't see ANY code WHATSOEVER and yeah, after that link it just said no email registered lol.

 

JAG has made recovery questions redundant.
I sold my account very recently and I couldn't see or remove any of the recovery questions, so I removed JAG and changed the email

Once the email was changed and they had JAG set the account was 100% secure, I can't recover the account since I don't have access to the e-mail account that's registered with the rs account.
