    LED Lighting

I am looking to add some custom lighting to my case

My plan is to add LED light strips around the side panel to get lighting into the actual computer, as well as adding two parallel strips on either side at the top to light up that awesome grill area the stryker has at the top, and then continue two strips parallel on the front of the case.

    My requirements:

Must be RGB Led's (i like being able to customize it)
Have a decent amount of LED's per inch
Have a wide viewing angle (80+ degrees preferably)
    Be expandable

As far as controls I really do quite like the NZXT Hue
    http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/case_accessories/hue

But the only problem I am having with the NZXT hue it is that the LED strip that comes included have the LED's very sparse and far between, and I do not think it is natively expandable.

I also know I can get something like http://www.amazon.com/300LEDs-multi-color-Waterproof-Flexible-Controller/dp/B0050X1NUS

Paired with an arduino mini - http://www.amazon.com/Arduino-ARD-NANO30-Nano-v3-0/dp/B003YVL34O/ref=cm_cr_dp_asin_lnk

but that is a lot of work for some lighting, but if there is no better solution it is what I might end up doing.

So my question is, does anyone have a suggestion for a product that would meet my requirements? Or does anyone know if RGB strips all have standardized connectors meaning I can buy the NZXT Hue and my own RGB light strip and pair the two up and it would still function?

This is the effect I want to achieve, but throughout the case

Well since you really want to take advantage of RGB LEDs the arduino is a minimum requirement (unless you want them constantly changing anyways).

The HUE I'm not sure about since I can't see the back, but I'd assume it isn't generic. But I'm sure you could change or expand it if you really wanted.
