    A great game development tool(easy)

    Hello

A long time ago I used to use something called GM Language to develop games. It can develop anything from basic pong games to semi-advanced 3d applications.

It's free, but for more advanced features like d3d usage, etc you need to buy it($15 or so)

It also has a feature called "drag and drop" making it incredibly easy to learn basic programming syntax and how programs/programming actually works.

I think it's a great basis to get a kick off on programming, and you can do TONS of fun things in it too. I've developed so many games on it in the past - I love it to death.

I haven't used it in a while but I know it's still regularly updated.

    Check it out at www.gamemaker.nl
