New Styles/Ideas

Basically, I have recently been falling in to a template of GFX, and It hurts me because I'm not learning anything, but I want to raise my prices and I'm not high-quality enough to do that. Basically, If you have any ways I can improve my style or anything I should add, just say so because I really feel lacking ATM

 

Learn traditional work.

That way you can feel accomplished that you can do something that actually takes some effort and an artistic eye.

Or just mess around; It doesn't matter what people think if you like it.

 

As Nero said, don't worry what other people think so much (although I see what you mean with the shop prices thing). Best to develop something unique and original rather than remaking other styles entirely. The best advice I can give you is to do lots of signatures (arty ones, not sythe text type ones) or large pieces, and just muck around. It does take a long time to learn to make quality work, but worth it in the end if you're looking to get more out of your shop.

 

I'm actually going to give a new sig a go, and hopefully it will turn out nice. I don't really like traditional tags that much, but I see where they will come in handy.

I'm no Master at C4D though I do use it frequently.
I see when you make 3D text, you have not much going with the textures or lighting. Your texturing is really basic and with the specular, it don't look to great. I suggest looking up on youtube people who do c4d as you can get tips on texturing, colours, lighting scene etc. and also in photoshop.
