I got a great idea for Runescape. Lets crash the whole economy. It will take quite a lot of work and people to do that, but with the whole Sythe community, it shouldn't be a problem.

My Idea:

We can crash the grand exchange buy making everything overpriced or under priced with something. We need to be 10x worse than the merchanting clans. We can under price everything.

For Example: We have an account with billions and billions of cash and other players with that. We buy something for a bunch of cash and that will impact the price. It will probably go lower. We then do that to other items and the whole Economy will be ruined after a couple of months. We can then buy lots of items for a low price and then a couple years later sell it for a huge amount.

We can take a party hat that's 200mill and lower the price to 100mill or so if we work hard.

Hmm,sorry if this is a "that sounds stupid comment" its not.
I think it would take alot more then the sythe community to do this.
But if we get enough people to do it it might work.

 

I don't think you can ever crash resources, because they just keep coming and coming. Now crashing the rares prices (ie. santas, party hats, etc) would work.

 

1. No that wasn't a "That sounds stupid" comment, I've been worrying of that we might need more people, maybe we can unite with other cheating sites like Fagex or RK or something.
2. I've been thinking about that too, they do keep coming back fast and the economy will recover if we use things like that. So I'm guessing we could use rares?

 

I doubt people here will go for this, most of them just want to sell there GP anyways.

So what do you even gain by crashing the price? You would need a substantial amount of money afterwards to buy anymore items.

However, please do try to crash items. I would be happy

It's never going to work, honestly don't bother and move on.
I'm not going in to why it wont work, just believe me.

 

If you crash prices people like me will just buy the items and ruin your plan.

 

The sythe community is not nearly large enuf for this to work and thats considering everyone joining in.

Who knows? Determination is the key to success. I'm gonna give it a shot. First I need people and supporters though! I need over 50 people. 100-500 haha

 

A. Won't work. too many players buying at varied prices meaning. Won't be able to affect it that much.
B. if we were to crash prices, people with part hats would be 1. Pissed off for the loss. 2. Why would you spend all ur money to ruin somethoung you bought then will sell for less that u paid? 3. When buying all its a replenishable stock since NPC's respawn so often and there are so many different worlds to play.
C. Nobody really would be into this, we want to make money not lose it in a silly scheme... It's not gonna work no matter what you do and jagex has the ability to reset or alter prices in ge if they figure somethings going wrong or weird. If they see 1k players buying a single item at max they will notice... remember we can't see exactly what they do but we can predict their powers and abilities. They own the game, they can do as they wish.


Verdict.

WILL NOT WORK.

 

I myself, doubt this would work as well. but Good luck with it. I support your cause but I dont think I'm willing to participate. all it takes is 1 person to tip the scales and sell min on the whole crew, and it would be difficult getting together enough people for it. Besides if one wanted to merchant they are better of joining an existing strong merch clan.

 

Ambitious but really hard task..Unless someone can estimated the wealth of all the sythe members

 

This would never work, why would you try to crash the economy by losing millions and millions of gp yourself and everyone doing this. /fail
