how do i do chargeback for paypal?

i got scammed. i was wondering is charge back just filing a Dispute a Transaction in the resolution center under digital content and saying i never got my thing?

 

Yeah, that's basically the extent of it. You just need to file a dispute, and hope for the best.

No lol. You actually have to call them up and speak to a rep if you really want your money back.

 

You can't chargeback if the money didn't come from your bank or credit/debit card. If it came from one of those two, you need to call your credit/debit card company or your bank detailing the siutation.

You're calling the wrong people if the transaction was virtual.

 

so i should call the bank and tell them i paid 55 dollars for virtual goods but the seller did not deliver?

 

Yeah pretty much.

 

If you dispute with Paypal. You will automatically most likely lose because sellers have more protection for virtual goods.

 

Just call your bank and say you want to dispute a debit card transaction. Say that the merchant scammed you and that you never received your goods. After that they will most likely issue you a temporary refund until the case is closed and they may issue you a new debit card. That's what happened to me when I called my bank about a VPS company that scammed me.
