Well seeing as it hasn't flown into anything I'd like to think that'd rule out a potential terrorist attack. It's somewhat odd that they didn't radio a "mayday" or anything like that, so I'm guessing something must've malfunctioned which resulted in an explosion of some type. That being said, it's weird they haven't found any pieces of the plane.

    Very bizarre situation.

I had seen this on the news, I would have thought by now some light would have been shed on the situation. Weird, weird, weird.

I feel really bad for the loved ones of the missing people on the plane :( I mean according to the news they haven't found any form of wreckage of the plane and believe that the plane has crashed into sea... However it has been reported that about 10-15km of oil slick was found spread over the ocean during the search!

But then again they are not sure what the cause of this oil slick could be and it could not even have been caused by the plane. I pray for the loved ones and also for those missing, hoping that some miracle could happen! Or, at least hoping that they find something!

Very strange... This is looking like the Air France Flight 447 situation where the wreckage was found 2 years later...

    Malaysia Airlines missing plane

I read an article the other day but I couldn't find it when I tried. But don't hold me to my exact words as I'm going off memory. But you could probably find it if you tried. It said there were 2 passenger's onboard that were confirmed to have stolen passports because when the airline started to call the family's of the victims one of the people who had there passport stolen answered the phone. It also said this is most likely a government job because when asked how the stolen passports got through security the airline replied with "must has mischecked" the article also said that not even one single mayday was sent or anything like that. I'm not sure and I know you cant trust everything you read but this has me pretty convinced..lol

Ill keep looking for the link and ill post it when I find it.

    EDIT: http://abcnews.go.com/International...gKcTGaxeatr0MP_AWXp29QQ&bvm=bv.62922401,d.aWc

Not the exact article but basically covers the same info.

It could have crashed in the Indian Ocean which is extremely large and thus hard to find. Also there have been reports that the captain is a political activist who supports the opposition party and was at the trial of a prominent opposition party member the day of the flight. Rumours have linked this to the captain making a stand and thus responsible for the plane disappearance. However there are a lot a lot of rumours going around and I just pray for the safety of the passengers on board the plane.

I just find it very interesting how a boeing 777 can disappear just like that, obviously there has been a passanger or several who has a lot of expercience with these planes and who was able to turn off their systems. I read on the news yesterday that the airplane was last seen on a miliaty radar at 08:11 am and they estimated that the plane had enough fuel for to stay up in the air til 08:20 am

    This.

However I do think it has crashed. If it was a terrorist hijacking then someone would of accepted responsibility by now however no one has.

I have to say this is an abnormal situation. The one thing I have noticed is that it seems odd that a jet of this size is that difficult to find. I am guessing there is a lot more to this story. Hijacking? I doubt it because we usually have negotiations. Murder? Maybe, but why fly a plane so far off course just to disappear without hitting a target. No terrorist group has claimed responsibility yet, which is another odd thing.
