Name Change?

Hello all, as a recent donor, I am looking for a name change to something more fitting! Can someone please help figure out how to do this or how to get in touch with a Mod who can help me? Thanks!

Also, does anyone know how I can add my own image instead of a name you have to click? I see other donors have this and cant seem to figure out how to add it! I do make my own graphics, including my signature. I know its not great but took me 5 minutes as I was just testing out how it would look before I go more in depth!

 

Name changes, and custom username images are sadly reserved for $200+ donators. You can see the full list of donation perks in the Sythe user center!



Edit: You can conduct a minor name change with a $5 donation; however, I'm unsure how large the name change you're looking for is!

 

Those eligible for a minor name change request are those who:

• Have donated a minimum of 5$
• Have a join date which dates to at least a year prior to their name change request
• Have 2FA enabled at the time of their request and pass an IP check (To enable 2FA visit http://www.sythe.org/twofactor.php and for a guide see: here.)
• Have not previously changed their name via the minor name change system

Those eligible for a major name change request are those who:

• Have donated a minimum of $200
• Have a join date which dates to at least a year prior to their name change request.
• Have 2FA enabled at the time of their request and pass an IP check (To enable 2FA visit http://www.sythe.org/twofactor.php and for a guide see: here.)
• Have not previously changed their name via the major name change system
• Must pass a staff lounge poll
• Will be given a User Title linking back to your old name for anywhere between 6-12 months.

NOTE: We can in rare cases deny a request without reasoning.

1. Removal of numbers in a name where the alternative is available (Example: Name1224 to Name)
2. Replacement of a number in a name (Example: N4m3 to Name)
3. Removal of characters such as underscores or hyphens where the alternative is available (Example: User_Name to User Name or UserName)
4. Capitalisaton or de-capitalisation of name (Example: name to Name or Name to name)
5. Removal of special characters in rare cases where the user profile glitches
6. Removal of random letters that do not add to the username
7. Minor corrections of spelling
8. Major name change
