How to buy osrs account safely

In the market for a account i have several offers. How xan i do it safely and minnimize risk of recovery. Just lost my main to hacking would hate hate to spend all my money to lose another.


Also my first log in and all log ins will be from a mobile phone if this qffects anything

 

sadly, any account can be recovered at anytime byt the orginal user. the onyl way to try and prevent this would be to buy from a very trusted user, or buy an unregistered account

 

Ok what about from playerauctions from verfied seller with 200 reviews all positive. Would that be safer?

 

I suggest looking at the history of the seller, the number of accounts he/she has sold and if there have been any problems with the accounts he/she has sold.

Your best bet is to check the validity of the seller. If they tend to sell often or have a shop with a lot of vouches such as the post above you are SAFER but you're never 100% safe with account sales. They are always a risk as they can be recovered at any time in the future. Whether that be days, weeks or months.

The most dangerous part about account sales is never usually the actual sale, but the recovery of the account after the fact - so while I would suggest using a verified middleman, you are still at risk.

One tip would be to check if the seller is the original owner of the account or not, if he is, and he's trusted - it's less likely to be recovered.

Not sure how safe it is but it might be a little bit safer if the seller also provides his ID with a contract written down confirming that he is selling the account to you.
You might be able to report that to the court if a recovery happens, not really sure if that works tho

of course not

 

Mobile log in does not affect anything. The only thing that will affect the status of your account is the trustworthiness of your seller. If he's trusted, the account will be in good hands (yours) and will not be getting recovered.
