    How did stuff happen?

I have a few questions for you intellectuals out there because I'm having a hard time with them.

How did existence get here? For example.. What was here before the big bag, and what was here before that? How did everything come into being? Was there ever a begaining?

What is the components of an atom made of... and what are their components, components made of? For example Atom > Electron > leptons > quark > baryons > ?????. beyond a point we get to.... nothing?

When you think about it... How did matter itself get here? When we break it down to the smallest, we get nothing...?

Does anyone know or have an idea?

I doubt our minds will ever be able to comprehend such things. It's better if we do not search for these answers.

But to answer your question, I believe they simply came to be. Whether by god, by nature, I do not know. There is hardly, or perhaps even no proof of this at all.

The universe is infinite, in both time and space. This implies that before the theoretical big bang, there was another universe, and another before that.

However, scientists theorize that all the hydrogen atoms in the universe will one day cease to exist. Because of this, it implies that there is a possibility that the universe is not infinite.

Mind you, since we cannot fully study the universe, assessments are just theories based off of valid science as it applies in our corner of the universe.

Who knows? Humans weren't even around for the first few hundred million years so how the hell would we know anything about the formation of the universe?

It comes down to being the basic unit that it is made up of. I tend to think that everything is made of and from energy.

I would try and break everything down for you, but the basics of it is that all matter doesn't break down infinitively.

    How did stuff happen?

You can't really answer any of those questions with any of our current knowledge of the world.

nor can you come to any rash conclusions. Example: We don't know how everything came into being so God must have created everything.

It is said that bacteria created everything, from a scientific stand point, but what created bacteria, and for religious people who say that God made everything, then what created god. It's strange to think that the universe has only been around for eleven billion years, and leads me to ask, what was before it.

    How did stuff happen?

"bacteria created everything" doesn't seem scientifically sound to me...

    How did stuff happen?

I think we may never know. The leading beliefs are that God did it and reactions caused it..but what set the reactions in motion, and what made God? It's hard to imagine nothing..but it's also hard to imagine something that always was.

    How did stuff happen?

People substitute lack of knowledge with assumptions. Then these assumptions evolve into truth.

    L2spell

The universe is huge. There is never truely nothing except in a vacuum. If you cut a piece of paper in half for 100 million years, what will end up?

Atoms, then you cut those up etc etc.

Nothing is a ridiculous theistic concept
