How did he get his account back?

True story. I just remembered a while back, a friend of mine sold me an account IRL, it seemed decent at the time, level 80 something with 10mil bank or so. I took the account for £20 during an IRL transaction, changed the password and after 30 days the recoveries went through. But then all of a sudden a couple months later he managed to retrieve it despite me changing the recoveries. He supposedly did it through membership pins or codes (he registered through sms and you get a pin which you can use to recover your account) and previous passwords etc.

So, recoveries really aren't the be all end all.

 

No matter what...the original owner can always get the account back.

Recoveries do jack shit it's the membership details and first passwords that get your account back mate.

 

You don't even need recoveries to recover an account if you're the real owner.
