    Annoying laptop beep?

Whenever my laptop (Gateway P-Series) Model P-6825 comes unplugged (the power cord thing) it makes an extremely annoying beep. It's short, but no matter what the volume is at, the beep is still loud. (If the computers speakers are off, it wont make noise, but when I'm playing music/up at night, it's kinda irritating.).

    Any solutions?

try looking in windows sounds for the error and change the sound or the volume.

Whn your battery power is running off battery, it tends to make the beeping sound..go to the options and set a time when it beeps.

If you have windows vista go to the your volume. Click Mixer. Then mute the one with the windows icon.
