Program Ideas

Hello everyone. I'm taking a Visual Basic course in school and we need to create a program as a midterm. I'm not very creative although I can execute an idea quite well.

I'm just asking for some ideas of programs I should make or that you think would be useful. The program could be for just about anything. When I'm done, I'd be glad to share the program with all of you.

I will be designing the program in VB2008 and would like to do something with databases so you are able to write to the database and manage it from the program. Please post some ideas and maybe we can elaborate to create something really awesome.

I had a Visual Basic class last year and as our final project, we made the "Are you smarter than a fifth grader?" game.

 

I have a similar project in my visual basic second year class. I was thinking about making a strategy game similar to the original pokemon games. (More along the lines of summoning demons though.)

But if that falls threw I was going to revert to a brickbreaker game.

Thats just me though
