How can I transfer music from one ipod to another?

Well I have an ipod nano 5th gen and a ipod touch (idk the gen but it's brand new) and I was wondering if there was a way to transfer music from one to another. I tried using itunes but I can't click and drag it. I also tried to use this program called ipod 2 ipod and I couldn't figure out how to use it. So does anybody know another method I could use to transfer music? Thanks very much

Use that to rip the music from your ipod, onto your computer. Then transfer the music from your computer to your new ipod.

 

You can just xfer it using your computer? Like drop the files in a case and then syc it with the other iPod?

u could just open your ipod and extract the music files into a folder on your computer, then transfer those to your itunes, then to your ipod

 

You will need to use a third party application. One I know of is called Copy2Pod, which allows you to transfer music off your ipod.

 

I was trying that but it wouldn't transfer. Idk why but maybe my computer was being special.

Ima try this but do you have to pay for it? because i see it says buy for 19.95. I did the free download thing though to attempt it.
EDIT: Nevermind I figured that you can only do 100 songs for the free version

You can just use "Idump" it lets you get the songs from your ipod into Itunes meaning you'll have the songs on your computer also.

 

If you're jailbroken, you can download an application through Cydia called OpenSSH which will allow you to send and recieve things on your iPod without the use of iTunes.
