How can I focus the URL bar in firefox without using mouse?

This is for a twitter bot. My goal is to select the URL (so I can type in new site) without manually using the mouse. For example, to focus the search bar on twitter without using the mouse you can type the key "/". Is there a key that will focus the URL bar like this? It is probably worth noting that I use a macbook pro.
