If tradeable Holiday item prices

Well, since the recent rise in holiday items I started to wonder how much some of the untradeable holiday items would be worth by now. Below I left some of my estimates.

2003- Scythe - 200m+
2003- Bunny ears - 200m+
2004- Yo-Yo- 20-50m
2005- Rubber Chicken - 20-50m
2005- Zombie Head - 20m
2006- Easter ring - 10-20m
All others above 2006 would probably be around 5-10m

Here is something interesting I found which could potentially increase the price in Yo-Yos
"On the first day of release, when a player died in the Wilderness, there was a chance the yo-yo would not return to Diango and it would be lost forever. As a result of time, Yo-yos are rare nowadays." From RSwiki. Not sure if it's true but if someone could confirm I would appreciate it.



Feel free to disagree with me as these are the prices I came up with based on dates and how long the item could be obtained for, as well as overall demand.

 

I think it would be considerably more considering each player could only obtain 1 of each item, whereas with items like Santa Hats etc. it was limited only by how many you can find.

 

You have to factor in the length the item could be obtained for though. The pre 2003 era rares were only dropped that one day. All of the others lasted for 2 weeks at least.

 

Bunny ears, the first untradeable, only dropped for 1 day. I made numerous accounts on that day to get ears, then sold them to people that missed the day.

I wasn't on for the Scythe, but I was very active during 2003 which leads me to believe that was only dropped for one day as well.

 

I agee. In the early days I only got on for one holiday, but i got about 8 masks in a matter of an hour. There were a TON of these items dropped. I'd wager to get that only a small number of active accounts have a scythe or bunny hood today.

 

I have a 2001 account botting rocktails in a scythe and bunny ears atm. Rofl how much could I sell this account for?

 

ran to 27 wildy when i was like 9 years old scared a fuk to get a scythe.

realized later it was dropped everywhere

when bunny ears drops, you were supposed to go east to get them. fuck my life i never found them

Meh, not worth it I don't think considering rocktails are like 4m a day. 5 days of botting or 10 year old account

 

I guess. Personally I would never bot on such a rare account.

yoyo 500m
Easter ring 50-100m

Anything after that below 100m.

 

Crazy to think that a virtual yo-yo in a free online game is 100x more valuable than most yo-yo's lol

 

If these items were trade-able then phats and other rare items would be less in value.. So therefore rares wont cost as much.

 

It's nice to speculate on but it's never going to happen.

Equally as crazy to think that silly paper crowns are worth $.50 irl and thousands on RS.

 

Don't forget the scarves and hats from Christmas 2005! Everybody wants those!

 

I'd actually pay more for scythe than partyhat... scythe looks way better tbh

 

The only one of them I have is the zombie head ^_^

 

I agree if lyn,I think it would be way more valuable.
