Hours botting, does it matter?

Aren't there invisible npcs that when your character touches them they check your IP for bots or something?

I've been told something along these lines.

LOL.

That statement is so epic in its ridiculousness. Just so you know, checking your IP for bots won't help much, if at all... outside of the fact that having invisibles NPC which trigger such an IP check is just... WTF?
