Hookups Ultimate Drumset Guide.

Hello, welcome to my 2nd Guide for my User Education App. this guide will teach you the basics of Drums, the parts of a Drum set, and what they are/do.

BASS DRUM.

This part of the Drum set is on the floor, in the middle. you use a Pedal, to project sound out of it. You will use your right foot to kick that pedal. It has the deepest tone of all the drums on the Set.



SNARE DRUM.

This is the drum on a stand by itself right in front of you. It has metal wires underneath the drum called 'snares'. The 'snares' give the Snare drum its loud snappy sound. The Snare is the drum you will hit most in the set. It has a high pitched snapping sound, but it's not the highest pitched part of the Drum Set, you can turn a switch on the side of it, to loosen the snares and transform the drums sound completely.



TOM TOMS.

Tom Toms are the two drums you will find on top of the Bass Drum, and range in a wide variety of sizes. you will bang on these babies, when your playing all sorts of music. it depends on how they sound and you can change the sound by using a tuning key which are very inexpensive and easy to use.



FLOOR TOM.

The Floor Tom is like the Tom Toms, but it is not connected to the Bass Drum, nor is there a set of them. (in most drum sets). it is not connected to the Drum set and stands on it own legs. it has the deepest Tone out of all the toms and is also the largest.



DRUM SET.

This is basically all of what i have just talked about, and i am pretty sure we all know what the Cymbals do, they emphasize the sound of what your playing, and also make the way a song/rhythm sounds.



ADVANCED DRUM SET.

And lastly, we have an advanced Drum set. Advanced Drum sets can have up to 20+ Cymbals, more than 5 tom toms, 2+ Floor toms, 2+ Bass Drums, and even 2+ Snares.



Ok, well now that i have taught you the basics of a Drum set, the parts of a Drum set and what they do, i HIGHLY recommend you go out there and buy one because Drums will be an amazing part of your life if you practice and you'll never want to stop practicing because they are so much fun. . and of course with practice, you'll start getting good in no time.
