    Ishmael becomes his worst Nightmare
Some of the reactions I face when I read these chapters I’m surprised that Ishmael turns into someone that he hated for years and drugs just turned him into a monster just like them. We as readers can tell it was the adrenaline that took over because he says “I raised my gun and pulled the trigger, and I killed a man. Suddenly, as if someone was shooting inside my mind all the massacres I had seen sense that day” (119). This quote moved me because it shows that if you bottle stuff up and not let it bother you eventually you could snap and do horrible things.

thats what i have done so far can you guys give me your input on what i can fix?

    Ishmael becomes his worst Nightmare
I was abruptly surprised when Ishmael transformed into a person that he strongly disliked. It is indicative that because he took drugs, his character has dramatically changed to the extent that enables the reader to have an unfavorable view on him. . We, as readers, are positioned to identify that adrenaline empowered him. This is foregrounded in the quote, “I raised my gun and pulled the trigger, and I killed a man. Suddenly, as if someone was shooting inside my mind all the massacres I had seen sense that day” (119). This quote moved me because it shows that if you bottle stuff up and not let it bother you eventually you could snap and do horrible things.
This quote has reached out to me as it bolsters the ideology that if you bottle you're problems up instead of confronting them, you may spontaneously relinquish your concealed anger and aggressive emotions.
