WOw that's LAME !

Is it just me or has the grand exchange watch failed ?

When the Grand Exchange Watch first came out, i was excited along with the many sythe users here. However, when i saw that Santa hat was going to rise and needed to be purchased immediately, i purchased 5. D

With these newly acquired items, i waited till the price changes on santa hats spiked up "20m" as they said. However! Santa hats have just dropped 7.9% or 850k. I just lost 3 m. Now im not saying that The Grand Exchange Watch is totally a blow off. But for a first impression, no offence, but it sucks. D:

(Yes, i know it's my fault for listening to/investing in such a dangerous item. But this is simply my input for the Grand Exchange. Otherwise, good luck Grand Exchange.)

You really shouldn't invest so much in any one one thing.

How much more gold you have? I mean did you lose everything or what?

 

That sucks. That's why investing can be dangerous. Try to invest into several items next time

 

1. NEVER invest in holiday items/ rares if you are totally scared about your cash. They are totally erratic and unpredictable especially around the holiday itself. 7/10 times you will end up guessing wrong and losing cash.

2. Investing in huge price items is usually a bad bet anyway since you are staking it all on a few items. Try lower price items, such as runes (not a great idea). It is better to spread around your cash and not bet it all at once.

 

My staff put up the sell notice for santas a day before they dropped, that's when I as well as most of the ExchangeWatch sold off our Santas. If you didn't see it we can't help you.

All sell notices are posted for at least 24 hours on the ExchangeWatch site, and often noted by a post on the thread.

Also, just as a general rule, please try to diversify your investments over a variety of different items. That's why we have three different "hot items", instead of one.

and hope i can sell for more than 21m rite now. (each)

 

That's unfortunate.. I sold my santa for 5m just before it jumped to 20m.

What's lame is you saying the watch failed, after you invested in 2 very unstable items...

It seems as if you just looked at the "Hot-Item" part and said I'm going to buy "x" because Merchant_In_The_Dark said so.

You're not going to be a successful investor unless you know the science of how it works; try and read the guide next time.
