What is a VPS?

All I got was Virtual Private Server.

Whats it do exactly? And how does this help out botting? Does it cost money? How can I do it? Is it worth it? Am I eligible for it?

A VPS is basically a virtual web server.

It helps in botting, as you can run bots on it (provided that you have the JVM installed) and you wouldn't have to shut it down as you normally would have to do with a computer. You can purchase a VPS from various hosting companies (just google VPS hosting).

 

So you can run bots, all the time, not on your computer. and not on ur ip

 

Wow. So basically its a server? How many bots can i add on VPS ? and how much do they cost? I should try this out, cuz i dont have internet access on holidays lul ^^

You can also host offshore websites (used for illegal content) on them, you can also get VPN's (Virtual Private Networks) which are used to cover your IP when handling stolen virtual goods (credit cards, paypal accounts) etc.

Any idea how much ram do i need to run 1, 2 or 3 bots on VPS? Here are offers from furgoosoft. Anyone know better offers from different sites?

A Vps - Virtual private server is kind of like a computer if you think about it, except its virtually controlled ( via your computer using Remote connection app ( already installed on most windows computers ) its not a WHOLE computer, think of it as a fraction of a computer which your renting.

its pretty much exactly the same as a computer when you control it, for easyier use i recommend getting a windows vps as linux's need expierience.

 

Doesn't jagex use linus as well?

 

I'm pretty sure almost all large-scale hosts use Linux, as it's less expensive.

 

And iv heard there are no viruses on linux

Linux virus when they hit the net, are normally "patched" much quicker compared to Windows virus.

A VPS, Virtual Provate Server is a virtualized OS running on a physical server.

A physical server can run many VPSes. A VPS can be customized to user needs but most companies sell pre-configured configurations.

The best way to start botting is buying one from Burst.NET(Same link) or resellers, they are here on sythe too...

You would need to setup the Desktop, VNC and JVM to run any bot. This must be done via command line(bash) on Linux.
