Username of individual I'm reporting: Chrisrs122
Reason: I purchased a discord bot off him for around $10 or so and in return, I'd receive lifetime warranty of the bot
How they scammed: There was an issue with the bot. He told me to contact him over discord for help. I contacted him over Discord saying there was an issue. He sent it then removed the link when I tried to download it. Told me he'd send it on the 9th June and I never heard any reply after that.

I didn't PM him on Sythe BUT it is fairly obvious that it is him considering I don't have random people sending me discord bots over Discord if I haven't paid

He said he will NOT be available anytime soon cause he has left the country. Please DNT him until he does the final improvement which was to add a scheduled message to the bot. Will do anything else that is required but I'm not sure what other discord logs you would need.

 

Ok i see, he just doesn't have a PC to work with. However, he does owe you full support as agreed upon the sale. When is he coming back? I would just suggest asking for a partial refund. I do not think this warrants a DNT

 

@Syfiends he clearly said that he won't be in the country any time soon. I have tried asking that question however I have received no response as to when he will come back. What am I meant to do then? The deal was for $8 + fees in BTC so what partial refund are you even suggesting here?

 

Well I am not going to give him a DNT over this. In the IT industry, typical maintenance fees as a percentage of up-front license costs for software is around 18-25%. So i believe a 20% refund would be fair.

 

I am currently in contact with him and this can be closed. I'll make a new report if any new information arises.
