Season 3 Gold+ Teams

According to the thing just released, it says that you have to have played at least 5 games with your team and at least been in 30% of the games played overall.

However, does anyone know if this only applies if you were on the team after a certain date? Can you technically just be "grandfathered" in and receive the awards anyway?

Nope, the total amount of games played on the team by you must be 30% or greater, regardless of when you joined the team.

 

Is it possible just to join a diamodn team that is basically diamond and just play 10 games, regardless of win or lose? Don't you need to have a 30% contribution to the team?

 

I'm not exactly positive due to the issue that in the previous season, it was possible to join a ranked team before September 1st I believe but still collect the rewards.

I'm just wondering if this applies to this season's rewards as well.
