Highly Unusual Paypal Unauthorized Chargeback

I lost the dispute, but Paypal covered the cost of the reversal so I didn't lose a dime. They NEVER do this kind of thing, I'm impressed?

If you guys have any weird Paypal turnouts feel free to share.

 

Wow that's weird. I have never seen nor heard of this happening before.

 

This happened on my friend's account as well. It was really weird since it was one of his first Paypal transactions and was for a couple hundred USD.

 

What was the transaction over, I'm curious. I can't see them doing this with gold =p

 

Probably just paypal making a mistake somewhere during the process.

 

I won a chargeback like this last night!! Maybe they have stepped up there game and now protecting the seller.

 

Very interesting. I've helped someone win a 400$ dispute but when the buyer chargebacked again (this time through his CC company) the funds were reversed and no credit was given. Congratulations, I guess!

 

Well, lucky dog. I've lost thousands in chargebacks and never once did they give me credit...

 

My friend's was for bitcoin. This was about 9 months ago.

 

I've never heard of this happening, maybe they were just being fair you both may of had a good point, I just didn't know paypal actually done things like this.
