Donation thread/stick For staff

Hi,

I was wondering if there could be a donation page for people wanting to donate to staff.

Would basicly be a page with donation button's for whichever staff wish to be listed and the public can simply make a donation to them if they wish.

Alternatively mabey a Staff paypal could be done instead.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?​

 

Staff do a great OVERALL job , but when it comes to catering to individual needs, such as a add on msn for requesting help, there not very professional there (not meaning to be rude). So I personally don't support this because they haven't exactally earned it.

 

What if you want it to be anonymous?

 

It's not really needed. Most of them have it in their signature and if they don't and you really want to just pm them like Hahanerd said and they will tell you some way to donate.

 

donating to staff makes no sence. well maybe to some people it does but for me well id prefer to spend my cash on myself lol

 

No support, most of them have a donation link in their signature or you can just private message them. I see no need for a sticky.

 

I agree somewhat, it COULD help, but at the moment, there is no need for it.

If you feel the dire need to go and donate to a specific staff member, why do you want it to be anonymous?

 

No body does this, staff already have a potential to make alot of money by using their trust to do MMing etc. A couple of bucks won't make a difference considering the potential or even actual money they rack in everyday.

 

Do it off-site, on site seems like bribery imo

 

I think it's fine to just PM them about it or use a donation button/link the staff member has in there signature. Creating a page about it sorta makes it official and the only official donation page that should be on the site is the one for Sythe.org.

 

To all those that are adamant all staff benefit from their positions and make a lot of money through their trust, think again I barely make any money from this site, and anything I do make 95% of the time is due to the kindness of others. While a donation page would be a nice thought, having it publicized is probably not the best... Any Official site donations should really go towards Sythe.org itself.

Come to think of it, I might chuck a donate button in my signature again. It never got any hits, but money is tight for my family this Christmas and so I'm trying to find any money I can
