Removing the "Rate Thread" tool

It has little use and is often abused by people selling or buying things in the same forums to gain leverage over one another, also people can rate their own thread giving it 5 stars or increasing the amount of stars from lower ratings.

 

I think the OP shouldn't be allowed to rate. Also, no one cares about ratings. I don't.

Yeah I also think it's pointless. Someone rated my MM thread 1 star and I died a bit inside.

I agree that the OP shouldn't be allowed to rate.

But I don't think rating really does anything. It hardly effects my opinion on the sale, and even if I was new to the market it wouldn't effect me.

Also there's absolutely no point in it unless a buyer/seller want to rate your business after the trade.
It doesn't really change my views on a buyer/seller if their thread is 1 star or 5 star tbh.

 

Yes but that is what a vouch is for. If he did good then vouch saying he was great and you would use him again or something.

And I agree I constantly give people one star if I were to open a shop . And there are very few people who actually look at these ratings.

 

Few people rate threads... It's pointless and useless. We could have a system that when you close the thread's window one would pop up and you'd have to rate the thread you visited.

I don't even look at the rate thread. It is completely pointless. You shouldn't die because someone rated you.

but tbh i actually look at the stars just to see what other people think of there topic/business so i dont support..

i do support that the maker of thread should not be able to rate there own thread... if indeed they can like i read above .

 

They should make it were you have to post in the thread before being able to rate it.
