High attack levels for pking?

I have had a chaotic zerker for a long time and it is pretty good. I am just about to go from 46 to 50 Defense in order to do the quest for turmoil and to get barrows gloves. One combat level for all of this in addition to being able to wear granite plate for PvM or PvP will be great.

However I have always wanted to make a high attack pker. Originally I wanted it to be 1 Defence 99 Attack 99 Strength. But now on this account, I don't do as much pking as I used to. If I do pk, its mainly rushing. I focus equally on Slayer/PvM as I do PvP, and this is why I wanted to raise my attack. My question is, will getting 99 Attack on a chaotic zerker make me fail as far as pking? I know when I go f2p pking it will help loads, but I just dont want to get wrecked at edge because I will be around 110 combat or higher with only 50 Defence. Opinions?

Oh and the reason I thought of getting this is because I realized I was approaching 25M Strength XP, because I always train slayer and PvM and PK with Strength on.

 

What's your attack level now? If it's under 90 don't go for 99.

 

I think 90 attack is good enough, do not go higher, will gain levels from PKing.

 

My attack is currently 80. It would raise 3 Combat levels for level 90 Attack.

 

it all depends on the defence of the people you fight. if you find that most pkers' defence is higher than your attack, their defense prevails. whereas, if your attack is higher, defence means less. go to the wild and do a survey or some shit haha

 

Any more ideas, still trying to decide, I am currently 80. Going for 90 would bring me up 3 combat levels but I would be hitting slightly more accurate.

 

I have two accounts between level 108 and 110, one is 78 attack and the other one is 90; the difference isn't THAT big, however pking with no whip is a little hassle. Personally, I would just use whip to pk and go for higher attack level.

 

Pking with rapier is win, whip sucks tbh.

Yeh 99 attack would level you up probly another 3-4 combat levels. But if your bored of pvp then why not. remember its just a game
