Visa Gift Cards

So i bought a visa gift card ( pre-paid credit card or w.e )

Im trying to verify the visa prepaid gift card i have on my account, but im getting this.. when i click link and confirm my card, and continue

We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card.

^ thats what i get. All the info i entered is correct, i went over it.. three times.

For security reasons, you can’t link a gift card, prepaid card, or one-time-use card.

But people are adding prepaid credit cards? How T_T
Would love a guide on how to add one.. :\

PS: I noticed there is a paypal help sticky. Ive had this up there for about a week. Ive noticed you get alot more help if you make your own thread then you do up there..

 

No, you can't use that on paypal.

Maybe a VCC i've heard of though

 

Where did you buy the gift card?


Most of mine from Westpac and they always work for me.

Though, what is the Balance on the card?

When verifying any type of card, PayPal needs to take out a fee, in order to confirm that the card is working.

 

Log onto the visa card website, the link is located on the back of the card, and go to the side there should be a list of stuff click " register card ". Until you do this you wont be able to use the card online at all. Also make sure when you add the card to your paypal that the address you use matches the one you registered the card with.
