D-Z317, Try it out.

You just stumbled upon a server called D-Z317.
If you've ever heard of Z508 and played it, and enjoyed it, this server might be the one for you, it might not be.
If you've ever heard of Battlescape 317 and played it, and enjoyed it, this server might be the one for you, it might not be.

The client auto downloads the cache, so it will not take over a second to download the client.

If you don't want the client to download the cache for you, or the client seems to be having problems downloading the cache, just download the cache and place it in your C:/ drive.

Before you begin playing, though, I would like to tell you what the server is about.

D-Z317 is a Battlescape based server, and it is a PK server.

Once you first login, this will be your starter:



The main cmds:



All the quests have been removed, with Desert treasure and Mage Arena quest being exceptions.
All skills have no point anymore, considering you can set your levels with ::setlevel STATID STATLVL.

PVP Drops from Z508 have been converted, and there is now a PVP area for those drops.

The PVP area is a pretty important place on the server, because alot of items ranging from Godsword blades to whips, to dark bows can be obtained from them. There is no other way to get those items unless you kill boss monsters such as the KBD or have the slayer level for them.

And as you can see, pvp drops are obtained.



To train slayer, you must kill players. If the player you kill has the same IP as the last one you killed, you will not recieve any slayer exp.

You are given 100k slayer exp per every legit kill, so it's pretty fast EXP.

At 85 slayer, you can kill Abby demons for whips, and at 90, Dark beasts for Dark bows.
You can then sell these items using ::sellitem ITEMID AMT or sell them to players.

Some precautions taken against unfair gameplay include:

Attacking, Trading, and staking players with the same IP is phrobibited.
You can not drop items worth over 20k.
You cannot stake, trade or drop money of any amount.
If you are killed with over 1m cash on you, it will dissapear.​

Minigames are also a vital part of the server.

I have taken the liberty of shortening fight caves to 29 waves, from the original 56 on Battlescape.
Pest control has been removed, and replaced with a minigame named the "Hord Minigame". If you've ever seen Palidino76's Zombie minigame on his upcoming server, Battlescape PK, this minigame is similar, except it isn't zombies.

There are 4 waves in the hord. The first wave, you will be faced by 8 Infernal mages. In the second wave, you will face 8 monkey archers. In the third wave, you will have to face 4 monkey archers, 4 infernal mages, and 4 skeletons (all at the same time).
The final wave is the Jungle demon.

After you defeat the Hord, you will receive a pair of gloves. The starter you first log into the server includes steel gloves. Therefore, you will get black gloves. The next time you do the minigame, you'll get mith gloves, and so on, all the way up to barrow gloves.
After you get barrow gloves, every time you do the hord, you will get barrow gloves, and a random item which can be an ava's accumulator, a random void knight item, and other PC items that were supposed to be in Pest control.

I have also left Warrior guild for all the defenders, and the minigame for Piety and Chivalry still remains (It can be found in the Warrior guild.)

Finally, Barrows has been left as well. You get a barrow items every trip, though.

There is so much more to explain, but I'm afraid you'll have to try D-Z317 out to actually see what the gaming experience is like.

Never got the chance to show this, but d spear spec. Yes, it works perfect, you cannot do anything while you are speced such as eating etc.

 

Various bugs such as the saving with the pity quest and mage arena quest have been fixed.

I also messed up where you would get more for what you sold then what you bought, but that's been taken care of as well.

 

I have decided that the fact that you need to register on the forum is too much for these people.

From now on, you do not need to register on the forum to play anymore.

Some changes that have taken affect though is only 1 person can be on per IP, and if you want premium ingame your forum name must match your ingame name, because if you're premium on the forum then you're premium ingame.

So if you are looking to getting premium, register on the forum and make sure your ingame name is same as your forum one.

I think people will find this useful.

You simply do ::search itemnamehere

And you will get all the ID's listed for that item.

Basically:

 

Dragon bolts spawnable.
Astral runes spawnable.
Crystal bows spawnable.
You now get 2 barrow items per trip.
You can no longer obtain a combat cape.

Sir, I am the reason as to why Battlescape is out right now. I fixed Pali's broken source which had basically nothing, so don't go assuming you know more then me.

Next, I've done alot of changing up with the combat system on here, and have reformatted alot of the stuff to be the same as on z508. Please, don't be so ignorant.

I never said that I know more than you, but its looks a normal battlescape source with no new features.

 

I'm not that good with taking pictures. If you actually get on you'll see that you're wrong.
