We have checked our system and found your lost pin’s. These Pin’s are valid for use within a year and will provide you with 5 months of membership. Please use them in the order given. However, as you already used three pin’s this month, you will not be able to use the next pin’s before august 24th and 26th. As you know, it is Jagex’s policy to allow a maximum of three pin’s to be used within a month time if they have been requested from the same phone number.

It could be true or it could be a scam.

Although I'm not a mod I've dealt alot with pins.

When the person forwarded you this message how many days of membership were still on the account?

Because I'm pretty sure if you have over 15 days of membership then it will pop up with that message.

BUT if it's under 15 days then it should apply the pin.

No? If its over 15 days it will just say you may not have more days then 15 blah blah.

 

If the pins do not work and you're sure that you're on the right window, then tell him to replace the pins or give you a refund.
