Sounds like she is playing hard to get, which seems to me the same game that you originally played. I say give her some space, while making sure you let her know you like her.
Depends on what she is doing.
If she is mad because you didn't like her, just say that you never stopped liking her, you just didn't think she liked you and that's why you backed off.
If she is play hard to get, ignore her, don't talk or even make eye contanct with her.
