Should I level my range to be a Melee/2h?

Stats:
43 Attack
75 Strength
69 HP
1 Range
1 Prayer
1 Magic

I keep getting owned in PvP.
Im VERY funded.

 

imo range/2hers pwn. Used to range/2h in old bh and had over 1k kills. Was only lvl 55 too

 

45 attack
63 dung
Gravite 2h
85 ranged
Thats what you should aspire too

You can get 79 range without it affecting your combat level, so I say go for it.

 

Not really worth the time imo, I mean range 2hing is overated. Range is such a joke in f2p

id just get 60 atk, 85 str, then maybe 99 range if i was going to range at all.

 

There is nothing to prove that the alchemy value is higher than a Rune Scimitar. And a Rune 2H is much easier to obtain. It's not easy Dungeoneering with level 1 Defence. I've tried it. And I've reached a boss and there was no way I could beat him even with best gear, food, etc.

I have about 20 r2h 20 rbattle 20 rscimmy

And 1.4m left over, I have enough for range.

Or I can get 99 str and 99 attack 99 hp and leave everything 1

Yes, if you are, get range. If you're P2P, get 50 attack and 82 range and blitz/maul.

Of course get range.. Strength/Melee on it's own is difficult, also you're able to gain quite a substantial amount of Ranged levels without it affecting your combat level.
