Vouches from another account?

Why cannot I not have vouches from my other account that has a SRB? It doesn't say ANYWHERE on the Sythe.org rules that I cannot have that, and some mod edited my thread and deleted the link to my other vouches...

As long as it's me (And this was verified by a mod, since he was the one that edited the title to say that my old account was Bliss Vi) I don't see a problem with it.

 

It will cause to many problems when you're trying to trade with someone else.

Look at it from another member's perspective. They'll think that you're using someone else's vouches and not your own. Thus, they'll file a report against you, which consumes the time of mods/admins and then you could possibly get banned because a mod/admin doesn't know that you're the same account.

Basically, it's going to cause too many problems.

I have about 40-50 vouches I could use, but I can't/don't because it would cause way too many problems.

 

It's not allowed because you could just claim any old vouch thread to be you or something. It would just make things complicated.

 

It would be just so time-consuming for Mods/Admins..

 

It would be complicated, honestly. Whether or not you can do this idea, but. PM the members you had vouches for, and tell them your new name and ask for them to verify there vouches by posting on your vouch page.

 

Why don't you just appeal your SRB on your other account? I'd assume it's more trusted and it would cause less complications for everyone.

 

There should be a system for this, like when you SRB for the purposes of a new account they should put "Now known as (blank)" in the user titles of the SRB'd account.

 

It would apply to such a small demographic that it would be a useless thing to add. If they wanted to signify that they're someone else they could put it in their signature.

 

How does it cause problems? A mod already verified via IP that both accounts were created by me. It's not in the Sythe.org rules that that's not allowed, so I will continue to edit it with MY vouches.

Its just flat out easier and makes much more sense to keep everything done on 1 account on 1 account. Not to mention we dont have time as a staff to settle all the disputes of using vouches from other accounts and such.
