Barb assult rankings

So say i want to go for rank 1 in a barb assult roll, how do i go about doing that? do i set it to points or xp? and after im maxed do i spend them or do i just keep playing after i have 500 points stacked up?

 

You definitely want to have it set to points, exp will only fill up your penance horn. Obviously you then just play, play, play as your role only if you want to make it to the top, lol.

 

Points, because the Hiscores only count the points you've gained, not the EXP potential. I'd suggest spending your points, because keeping 500 while you keep getting them is useless, might as well get something from them! It's a cumulative amount that you've gotten over the whole time you've played, so spending them still lets you keep adding to the amount of points you have gained overall.

 

As I am the Barbarian Assault king of sythe I will also give context to this. You know Sheyney Fox, that ginger 40 year old woman that used to be #1 in all roles? Basically she got a feel for Barbarian Assault when she was doing horn for experience. This did not get her rank up. She fell in love with the mini game and decided to go for #1 in all roles. For her the best thing to do would be to purchase a Trident every time she could and alch it so at least she was profiting a small amount. For people who just want to do a single role and forget everything else, they should gamble their points away like Jail Guard. You should PM me your RSN, I don't bother doing BA orders as on level 1 accounts without any companions I just cba, but it could be fun BAing with you.
