    Help with my xbox360

Okay so i had the red ring of death (3 red lights), so i bought a repair kit, took the xclamps off and whatever and added the bolts and everything.

So it worked for like 2 weeks.

Then the video while i was playing started glitching up and was different sorts of colors. I kept playing and it eventually stopped, as like i wasn't doing much, like i was in a fight on call of duty, and after it when it went to the menu the colors eventually went back to normal.

So i turned it off when i was done. Came back the next day and when i turned it on i got no signal. Everything was plugged in fine. I tried again the next day and i could hear sound of the xbox starting up but no video.

I need help with what to do.

Things i've tried so please don't bother posting

    New Cord/TV/Both
    Penny Trick
    Towel Trick

I've googled so much, and found same answers which don't work for me.

Since xbox has been opened there is no warranty.

    Please help,
    Thanks

Your GPU and CPU have old thermal paste on them. Remove the old thermal paste via rubbing alcohol and then apply new thermal paste.

Also, when you did the penny and towel trick you may have gotten the xbox hot enough to melt some of the components of your GPU. You may just have to buy a new xbox, and if you had red ring, I assume you have an old model, might as well just upgrade to the slim.

There really is nothing else you can do to it. Trade it in to a game store for like $60 and save up for a new black xbox.

Towel trick and penny are both just temporary, and you only do it if you are desperate to go on the 360 and you will have to take the risk that it will **** your xbox up even more,
I had this when no video came up only audio.
Its not THE worst brake you can get because I turned my console off several times and eventually it came on and stayed on until I turned it off.
    Hope this helps,

Not necessarily true for the penny trick, I've done it to two different xbox's, one stopped working after about a year, and the other one still works, both are first gen. @ OP You used Electrical tape, not another kind of tape right? Also, you had to be very careful when putting the metal case back on over the motherboard and tipping it right-side-up to make sure the pennies didn't slide around. But yes, you will probably just have to buy a new xbox, you could try taking it to repair shop, but they might not be able to fix it if you already took of the original syncs, not sure if they use new ones or not.

He wouldn't be asking here if he had his warranty still. He probably broke the sticker or his warranty died and he didn't feel like paying for another one...
